The NANOTECHNOLOGIES exhibition is adapted to young audience, from the age of 10. School teachers have been mobilised in the scientific advisers’ group from the conception of the exhibition, in order to better take into account the expectations and the demands of this specific audience.

Guided tours for students

You can easily organize guided tours for school groups, from 4th and 5th grades students up to 12th grade students. We propose different animation scenarios based on the sensitive discovery of nanotechnologies, through imagination and an active participation of every student.

The guided tours program has been conceived to address children of various ages, in relation with their school programs. Considering the different levels, the animations appeal to:

  • Their curiosity: to understand through experimentation the scales and proportions, the processes and laws existing in the nanoworld ;
  • Their imagination: reflection and sensitive expression in relation to our possible futures with nanotechnologies ;
  • Their engagement in our society: through an initiation to civic practices and to philosophical reflection in relation to sciences and techniques.

NB. Specific educational equipment is integrated in the exhibition furniture (in the benches); it is meant to be a basis for the animation of school groups’ tours.
